BIBLICAL NEWTESTAMENT CHURCH DOCTRINE
Church Purchased with His Blood, also known as The Message of The Cross Church, an Evangelical, Pentecostal Apostolic Church, (Nondenominational Church) is Trinitarian in its teachings and so is not part of the (Oneness Pentecostal Movement or The United Pentecostal church). Although, Apostolic Church is usually a term referencing churches and groups within the oneness movement, these groups have (No) association with The Church Purchased With His Blood/The Message of The Cross Church, whom holds to the doctrine of the (Trinity) The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, they are all one in purpose. And, Salvation through Faith, in Christ & the Cross, also called the Born Again or New Birth Experience; the Bible calls it washing & regeneration. Then, there's what is called the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, which imparts the believer power and ability to fully grow and develope in Christ with our Lord and the Cross ever being the only object of our faith. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit/infilling with the Holy Spirit, gives the believer the ability to recieve (A Gift) or (The Gifts) of the Holy Spirit and to mature and develope in the fruit of the Holy Spirit. However, the only requirement to recieve the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, is to be saved/born again. (Acts 19:2)
Joel 2:28; Acts 1:8; & 2:8;).. 3:11;
Despite popular opinions and perceptions considered to be facts of what the Apostolic Pentecostal Faith and Church is, its interpretations of doctrines and customs believed, therefore adopted and practiced; those opinions, perceptions and interpretations are not True Biblical perceptions and interpretations of the Apostolic Faith and Church in general practices, teachings, interpretations nor customs; such as the wearing of prayer caps, the wearing of floored dresses, no wearing of pants and make up by women nor jewelry by men and women, no women ministers, baptizing only in Jesus name, the interpretation of Christ being the whole of the God Head and trinity as though God the Father doesn't exist when He said this is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased, and you have to speak in tongues to receive or to be Born Again, which is in complete violation of Salvation by grace and justification by faith, faith in Christ and what He has done on the Cross (John 3:16) as the only begotten Son of God through Eternal Generations (Ephesians 2:8).
All of these interpretations and perceptions of the Pentecostal Apostolic Faith is not the Biblical teachings of the , they are the personal beliefs and standards of men attempting to Sanctify themselves, others and exert domination by those religious means, however, not discerning the scriptures by the but by Religious Zeal, with the lack of understanding that Christ has Sanctified Believers by His Cross, His Righteousness and God’s grace, because if you don’t understand the Cross of our Lord Christ, you will not understand the benefits of the Cross and the opporation of the Holy Spirit in relations to the Cross and every day living (Hebrew 10:14;) nor Basic Truths of God’s divine scriptures.
The word Apostolic is derived from the word Apostle, which means sent one or one who's sent to declare Christ and Him crucify/The of The Cross. As known, the Apostles were the twelve men called by Jesus Christ as disciples or students of the Lord. (Peter, Philip, James the son of Zebedee, John, Andrew, Bartholomew, Thomas, Mathew, Thaddeus, Simon, and James the son of Alphaeus). However, there are disagreements whether Mathias or Paul is the 12th Apostle; moreover, it is the Apostle Paul whom our Lord made the Master Builder of His church, (1st Cor. 3:10;) and whom God gave the revelation of the New Testament, who is Jesus Christ and Him crucify, and it is Paul who wrote ¾ of the New Testament and whom God gave The Tenants of The Faith, Faith in Christ and the foundational doctrines of the New Testament Church and its .
So in short, it is evident that the central theme of the Apostolic Faith or any church for that matter, was, is and forever should be Jesus Christ and Him crucify; and because it was, God moved mightily in those days through signs, wonders and miracles by His divine power in epidemic proportions, simply because God will only honor faith in Christ and what He has accomplished on the cross; it is so dear to the heart of God that it became His prescribed order of one's deliverance, grace and victory over the world, flesh and the devil; (Romans 8:2;) (this is the most essential component of the Apostles Doctrine, and as an Apostolic or any Christian organization we are to adhear to it that it may become our very own).
As it is quite obvious, the Apostolic Faith and church according to the Holy Bible, is really the Pentecostal church’s counterpart in its government and doctrines, although, as used in various denominations Apostolic Pentecostals or Pentecostal Apostolics are united to the first century church in its original doctrines, actions and events; such as Acts the 2nd chapter which is the account of the Baptism or infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit given in (1st Cor. 12th chpt). However, on the contrary many who are considered to be dispensationalists believes that these divine demenstrations and gifts in the book of Acts were only the contemporaries of the first century church in its infancy and is not relevant to these times.
Although, others believe these 9 gifts (The word of knowledge, The word of wisdom, The gift of prophecy, The gift of faith, The gifts of healings, The working of miracles, The discerning of spirits, Different kinds of tongues, The interpretations of tongues) along with the Baptism or infilling of the Holy Spirit has ceased since the completion of the Canon of scriptures, or were only for the Apostles, nevertheless, many who believe are experiencing the same events in their lives as did the first century church. Finally, as we draw to a close, at the heart of the true Apostolic Faith and Church, is The Message of The Cross of Christ; if there's a desire to grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ's Cross, God will take any confessing Christian as far as they are willing to believe in His timeless Truths. Pual says, as he lays down the mandate and message of the New Testemant Church in 1Corinthians 1:17; For Christ sent me not to Baptize, but to Preach the Gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect. The Apostle sums it up in verse 23. by saying, but we Preach Christ cruxify, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks/Gentiles foolishness. So in short, Pual is saying every thing we need, is in the Cross, not only our Salvation but also our Sanctification, Justification and Redemption.
